Product Warranty

Online store www.nordo.lt Purchased goods are subject to the warranty terms and conditions set by the manufacturers. A statutory 24-month warranty period established by the Republic of Lithuania applies to the goods; however, for certain product groups, manufacturers may specify different (shorter or longer) warranty periods, in which case the manufacturer's warranty period shall apply.

www.nordo.lt The main characteristics of the goods for sale are specified in the product description. Certain goods are covered by a manufacturer's warranty, the terms and conditions of which are provided in the product descriptions and detailed in the purchase receipt or invoice.

Important: Please read these warranty terms and operating instructions carefully before using the product. It is essential to keep the purchase document throughout the device's warranty period.

WARRANTY TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Warranty for www.nordo.lt purchased devices. The warranty takes effect from the date of sale/delivery of the device, unless the contract provides otherwise. The warranty period for the device is specified in the purchase document.

www.nordo.lt reserves the right to refuse the warranty if the warranty conditions listed below and/or the device's operating instructions have been violated. When the seller replaces an item or its component part within the specified warranty period, a continuous warranty period applies to the new item or component part.

Warranty obligations are terminated in the following cases:

  1. In the event of malfunctions caused by natural disasters (lightning, flooding, earthquakes, fires), improper operating conditions, or the user's intent or negligence;
  2. In the event of malfunctions caused by illegal or improper voltage sources or power grid failures;
  3. Damage caused by foreign objects entering the device, sand, liquids (corrosion, oxidation), food, insects, etc.; failure to follow the operating instructions provided in the device manual;
  4. Damage occurring after purchase due to the device being dropped, struck, or during transportation when the device is transported by the customer themselves;
  5. The defects were repaired by a service technician/person not authorized by the manufacturer;

Warranty obligations do not apply in the following cases:

  1. The device was intentionally damaged or disassembled;
  2. The device malfunctioned due to the installation of illegal software or unauthorized disassembly.
  3. If the failure or abnormal functioning of the product was caused by the activity of viral programs.
  4. If the defect occurred due to the use of consumables or accessories not recommended by the manufacturer.
  5. If the optical disc drive failed due to a broken data medium inside it.
  6. For software provided with the device that is subject to end-user license agreements.
  7. The number of permanently bright or dark ("dead") pixels allowed on liquid crystal (LCD) displays is defined in the specifications provided by the manufacturer. If the presence of such pixels does not exceed the "dead" pixel standards set by the display manufacturer, their presence on LCD screens is not considered a defect or a fault.
  8. The device was used in violation of the operating instructions and the terms of the warranty certificate;

Warranty service rules:

  1. When submitting a device for warranty repair, the buyer must provide the purchase document (sales receipt or invoice) and any other necessary documents if required by the seller;
  2. The device must be submitted in packaging that ensures safe transportation. If the device is delivered without packaging, the Seller shall not be held liable for any mechanical damage sustained during transportation;
  3. The device or its component is accepted by the seller upon completion of a product handover certificate. One copy of the certificate is provided to the customer;
  4. Items cannot be returned without the document (transfer-acceptance certificate). In case of loss of the transfer-acceptance certificate, a valid proof of identity must be provided;
  5. For warranty service, we suggest contacting the nearest Seller's branch or an authorized service center specified by the seller;
  6. If no fault is found and/or in the event of malfunctions not covered by warranty obligations and free service, the customer shall cover all costs related to the transportation of the goods to the service center, fault diagnostics, and repair at their own expense;
  7. Defects occurring during the warranty period due to the manufacturer's fault shall be rectified by the manufacturer's authorized service center (as specified in the warranty booklet) within 14-21 days from the date the device is handed over to the authorized service center, or within 45 days if a part needs to be imported from abroad;
  8. The device shall be replaced or a refund issued if defects occurring during the warranty period cannot be repaired;
  9. The seller is not responsible for any information lost on a faulty data storage device or media. It is recommended to regularly back up such information;
  10. When collecting the item, it is mandatory to check whether the complete set of the device brought in for repair is being returned. No claims regarding the completeness of the set will be accepted later;
  11. When submitting a mobile phone for repair, we recommend saving the information stored in its memory to a SIM card or another device;
  12. Technical maintenance (replacement of batteries and other parts) is available at any authorized manufacturer service center for a set fee upon the user's request;
  13. If the customer, having been informed that the item is ready for collection after repair, fails to collect it within 6 months of the repair completion date www.nordo.lt reserves the right to no longer store the item.

Device operating conditions:

  1. Relative humidity up to 95%, atmospheric pressure from 85kPa to 108kPa;
  2. Vibration effects: frequency (10-55) Hz, acceleration up to 10 m/s (1g);
  3. The room must be free of dust and harmful substances that cause corrosion;
  4. If the device has been transported in sub-zero temperatures, it must be unpacked and kept in normal climatic conditions for at least 6 hours before being switched on;
  5. After moving the device from a room with a higher ambient temperature to a room with a lower ambient temperature (and vice versa), the device must not be connected to the mains for at least 3-5 hours;
  6. All devices must be grounded, the electrical network must be in good technical condition, power supply voltage 220V (±10%), frequency 50Hz. In case of voltage fluctuations, it is necessary to use voltage filters or stabilizers.

- atmospheric pressure from (84.3) kPa to (107.3) kPa.

Attention: Prohibited:

  1. Place the device in direct sunlight, near a heat source, or close to devices emitting magnetic radiation.
  2. Remove covers or otherwise disassemble the device.
  3. Place heavy objects on the device.
  4. Use alcohol or other chemical solvents for cleaning.

Important: To avoid any misunderstandings, we recommend contacting us by phone or email before bringing in a faulty or non-functional device for warranty repair.
